Our partners at the LUMC participated in a Public Day of Regenerative Medicine that took place on the 28th of May 2022 from 10:00-16:00 in the Stadsgehoorzaal in Leiden, NL.  The free event showed visitors what the future of medicine has in store, and explored topics such as:

“Could you be treated by your own cells?

Will we be able to make drug development more efficient?

How can your own genes be the solution to your health problem?

What are the social implications of current developments in medicine? How do we pay for these expensive treatments? And who owns commercialized therapies derived from your cells?”

The day offered visitors the opportunity to read, experience, discuss, watch and listen to the story of the Dutch Regenerative Medicine, and was organized by the Netherlands Science Agenda (NWA)

The event ran from 10 am-4 pm and the round table sessions were from 12 pm-3 pm. LUMC’s Dr Yolande F. M. Ramos led one of the round table discussions where OA and AutoCRAT were discussed.
